Review on 🎿 High-Performance Apex 4 Ski and Snowboard Roof Rack for Enhanced Outdoor Adventures by Jeremy Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nearly perfect! Holds no more than 2 snowboards but enough room for skis. Locks confiscate in the cold.

SNOWBOARDER: Space for only 2 full size snowboards plus skis or other small items. Not suitable for 3 adult snowboards. We use it to set up 2 adult snowboards and a toddler snowboard and it works fine for that, but we don't have room for extra boards so we can't bring powder boards and the park or friends unless they're not only Ski. INSTALLATION: Was frustrating but not difficult to install - lots of moving and tightening screws but perfect for the old school Yakima Q-Tower system. LOCKS: Comes with lock cores installed (no need to buy separate locks like the factory Yakima system). Unfortunately, locks sometimes get stuck in the cold or in very cold weather, and keys are of poor quality and easily bent. CONCLUSION: Overall a great purchase. Our factory Yakima rack broke after 4 years of use and would have cost 4-5 times more to replace. At $80 it was a bargain and we are very happy with it. Recommended if you have no more than 2 adult snowboarders!
