Poor instructions or bad design
The instructions tell you to connect the heating element wires before inserting the mirror glass into the housing, but the connectors on the wires prevent the glass from going in the case penetrates cutouts in the plastic is too low. The part needs to be pre-assembled and you just need to connect the wires and snap it in place.
