Review on Sceptre C325B 185RD: Curved Screen with DisplayPort, FreeSync, Blue Light Filter, and Built-In Speakers by Antonio Riley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is normal at best.

I bought this monitor in early to mid 2020 for around $275. Brightness is ok, but above 50-60 colors wash out. The picture quality itself is good, but the monitor I got was very smeared and the text was unreadable while moving. I watch a lot of anime and play a lot of games, so it's important to me that things are clear and legible when they're in motion. This monitor has pretty bad ghosting and streaking. The blacks are okay at best, the whites are decent, and the colors are actually pretty good. I wouldn't say this monitor costs more than $300. Even then it's annoying. I'd recommend downscaling to 27 inches and running the same budget on a better 1440p monitor. But if you're up for it, by all means do it. But as of 2021 there are better ones out there. I gave this product 4 stars because it has been in the past and is currently serving me well.
