Review on ZOOKOTO 60 Amp Circuit Breaker: Reliable Terminal Inline Fuse for Trolling Motor, Auto, Marine, Boat, Bike, Stereo Audio, Inverter. Resettable 12V-24V DC by Andrew Gomez

Fatal error - try something else.

I bought 5 of these in different amperages for a caravan project. I found that when charging the battery with a 65 amp load, a circuit breaker would trip at 80 amps after a few minutes and then at 100 amps. The switch terminal, 4-gauge copper wire, and crimped lug became visibly warm, causing the switch to trip and had to wait several minutes to reset. . No overheating this time and 65 amp load there were no problems indefinitely. If you look at the pictures I've included you can see what might be going on. The contact area for the spade lug is relatively small on the Zookoto and may be recessed under the plastic case, while the Bussman has a healthy contact area that blends well with the case. Not sure if that was the main difference, but I didn't have any issues with the Bussman 285 in my setup anyway. Unfortunately the return window closed before I installed the charger so I'm now stuck with 5 of these switches unless Revain or the reseller is willing to step in and do the right thing.
