Inexpensively made for derailleurs

I installed this on my boat a few days ago, right after installing the new Ultrex TM . I connected the batteries and disconnected power from the switch to the trolling motor and connected the battery charger to charge the batteries. As I prepare to go to the lake, I turn off the charger and try to turn on the TM. That is broken. The switch on the circuit breaker doesn't seem to be connected to anything. I press reset, the same. . Everything is like random disparate details that have nothing to…

  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Easy to install but works in sunlight

I'm using this for a trolling motor, manufacturer's recommendation: use a 60 amp circuit breaker with 8 gauge wire less than 10 feet long. I used this over the weekend and the switch was in direct sunlight during use. Direct sunlight combined with the thrust of the engine tripped the switch twice. In my application, I had no way of mounting it in a place that would be protected from the sun. So be aware that any outside heat combined with the attraction of what you are using can lead to a fire.

Never worked properly BUT I get a replacement from the seller

UPDATE: After contacting the seller I receive a replacement unit. Due to the seller's quick and polite response to my complaint, I have to change my rating to 5 stars. Thanks seller! This device did not turn on in a horizontal position, but at about 45 degrees. Tonight it won't turn on or restart. He froze as if melted inside. Wouldn't recommend it to others. The seller has closed the return window to let the seller know that the goods are of poor quality; otherwise they would guarantee it for…

Easy installation and it works great!

Works great and does the job. My old fuse box was getting hot and had an awkward drop, about 0.7v. I tried jigging, tightening, doing everything I could think of but it just got tired so it was time to replace it. A Sundown SA15 with a Polk D4000 mated to a pair of Hertz MPK165P.3s in the front and a tiny Alpine 445u mated to a cheap ID midrange in the rear because I had a hole in the mid-bass. right on the edge of the neckline and the back was up so I tried that and she tripped. Ideal!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to say

I bought three of these 20A circuit breakers. I installed all three in my converted van but I only have one working circuit at the moment. The first block I had in a working circuit didn't work so I had to replace it with one of the other blocks and it works. What was wrong with the failed unit was that it stayed in the off position. I couldn't reset it. I haven't tested the third block in the chain yet, so I'm not sure if it works. I was able to return a failed unit to Revain with no problems…

  • Weight
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Use 2 of these between my solar charge controller and my battery, one on plus and one on minus. I know I only have to use one for protection, but it seems easier to connect my control board with 10 gauge wire if I use 2 breakers. I really like them and would rate them 5 stars but I didn't expect the extra room needed to move the screw back on the protective caps to tighten the set screws. Since the cover has no hole, the set screw on the wire must be tightened before the plastic cover can be…

Fatal error - try something else.

I bought 5 of these in different amperages for a caravan project. I found that when charging the battery with a 65 amp load, a circuit breaker would trip at 80 amps after a few minutes and then at 100 amps. The switch terminal, 4-gauge copper wire, and crimped lug became visibly warm, causing the switch to trip and had to wait several minutes to reset. . No overheating this time and 65 amp load there were no problems indefinitely. If you look at the pictures I've included you can see what might
