I'm using this for a trolling motor, manufacturer's recommendation: use a 60 amp circuit breaker with 8 gauge wire less than 10 feet long. I used this over the weekend and the switch was in direct sunlight during use. Direct sunlight combined with the thrust of the engine tripped the switch twice. In my application, I had no way of mounting it in a place that would be protected from the sun.
