I'm having some problems with this tool. 1. This rock drill is not designed to withstand the heavy use described. It doesn't puncture well and it took several attempts to punch a hole through Fitbit's silicone strap. A small piece even got stuck in the stamped metal head. When attempting to punch a hole in a belt or watch band, the metal head of the punch (punch) is off-center on the punch stand (plate), causing the punch contact to be misaligned. 2. The head rotor rotates with difficulty and must be moved by force. 3. The lever that closes the tool when it's done doesn't work, so the only way to close it is to twist it with a twisted zip tie or rubber band, or slide it back into the box. 4. Speaking of which, the box it came in was a little worn and torn, so I suspect a previous buyer returned this tool. With some effort I was able to make the desired hole in the silicone watch strap, but I suspect this might not work with leather or plastic. I can return for these reasons.
