There is no 15A fuse in the 2-way splitter. said a recent redesign eliminated the fuse. NOCO hopes the 15A cable and vehicle/device fuse provide adequate protection. A promotional image of a 2-way splitter from Amazon shows a power end with a socket that can accept a 15A fuse. The current socket end design can not be disassembled, no bolt and nut. The website says the device is rated for 15 amps, it's just not protected. Opinion; did; High conductivity 16 AWG copper wire rated at 15A along with the current false image of the outlet lead customers to believe that this device is protected by a 15A fuse. I will return this product.
