I received the ClearClick Virtuoso 2.0 scanner two hours ago and was able to scan 35mm slides in minutes. The slides are over 50 years old, but the resulting scans are bright, colorful and crisp. The scanner is intuitive to use, with clear on-screen icons and well-labeled buttons on the scanner. The instruction manual is written in correct English, not in a foreign language. After I scanned the slides, I connected the USB cable to my computer, selected the USB image on the scanner screen, and the memory card appeared as an external drive on my computer. It was quick and easy to copy scanned photos to a photo gallery. I can highly recommend the slide/film scanner. I have scanned and digitized several hundred slides and negatives. I didn't do it commercially because of the cost, now I can do it myself without breaking the bank. New Discovery; If you know the date (or approximate date) the slide/negative was taken, it can be entered using the scanner's date setting and will be added to the scanned image's properties.
