I bought this system to keep track of my shop. 8 cameras is more than enough to cover the whole area. Since the system already contains all the cameras associated with their channels, all you have to do is install the cameras. Because it's wireless, all you need is a power cord. The only downsides I've encountered are that the main module's UI isn't very user-friendly. If you are new to other surveillance systems, you will find it difficult to set up the recording schedule and motion recording module. However, this package offers very attractive value. 8 wireless cameras + 1 TB recording system + the ability to access the system from anywhere via the Internet for only $300 - that's a really attractive price.
