I don't normally write reviews but I had to: I installed a Powermaster in my 1984 GMC Suburban 6.2 Diesel instead of a real Delco alternator. I have a total of 4 batteries. This truck: 2 are standard to start the engine and I installed 2 additional support vehicles (I take the sub outside to the middle of nowhere). 1. This thing boots - it's a noticeable improvement over the OEM.2. Powermaster customer service is out of this world. I actually messed up the setup the first time: I had to "time" the generator to match my setup and I broke it in the process. Emailed CS and they said no problem, just send it back - we'll fix it and schedule it for you. Worth every penny and probably a lot more.
