The "ugly duckling" X-series, which for two years was the favorite glass on the system (much more beloved than 35mm). Many are put off by its "thoughtfulness" in AF, but like the X-Pro1, you just need to get used to it and master the subtleties of handling - and you will be rewarded. Different pros: Excellent design, light, compact, metal, including lens hood. I would describe the drawing as "vigorous, energetic" - I especially liked it when shooting portraits, including shots in backlight. Crazy sharp already at 2.4 Has cons: A bit dark, the macro is small, I had to crop. The main disadvantage is that it is very thoughtful during autofocusing, it often "prowls" in its search, it takes some getting used to.
