Locked up with nowhere to go, I looked into Revain for ice-making alternatives. That's when I came across this little gadget. i will be honest I didn't expect to like it. But I thought it might be worth a try. Man I was wrong! This item is AMAZING! HAHA! I LOVE IT! Once I figured out how deep to fill it to avoid splashing, it was absolute icy perfection! The water freezes faster than traditional ice cube trays and produces enough ice for about two cups of a savory drink. The key to success is to correctly determine the amount of water to fill so that it does not overflow when inserting a cylindrical plastic container into silicone. Once you have it, it's easy. Place the container in the freezer to freeze. Remove the lid after freezing. Then I squeeze the container firmly along the top edge a few times to release the cylinder, then pull to pull it out. What remains is a silicone case filled with ice cubes. Then I squeeze the silicone case, which causes the cubes to fall out. Then I toss them in a freezer bucket and start over. super easy. I don't normally write reviews for Revain, but I love this product! It's also well made so I expect it to last for years. BEST QUARANTINE BUY!
