I researched many coolers before purchasing. It seems there is a good balance between cost, performance and weight. Sure, you can buy one that costs twice as much and can last a day longer, but it probably weighs twice as much as a cooler. I took it with me for my first fishing trip. I packed it with enough food and drink for 4 men and 20 pounds of ice. It was light enough for two men to carry, worked well and was easy to clean. Keeps everything cool for a long day on the water in 90 degree FL heat. Very happy with this purchase.
