Review on CRAFTSMAN Ratchet 72 Tooth 8 Inch CMMT99420 by Chris Bowden

I don't normally write product reviews but felt I had to as I had to return this product and wanted to write a review as this information bearings were not included when I bought. This is a chunky, comfortable ratchet, but it's difficult to determine the size from the Revain description and photos. The critical measurement that didn't work for me was that the head was 5/8" (0.625") thick. I needed something more subtle for my purposes. It also feels better than the old Craftman teardrop ratchets, it has about 2x more teeth, the chrome is better, but the ratchet feels massive (which isn't bad). As I mentioned, the head is huge and doesn't fit into tight spaces as much as I need to. I ended up replacing it (and its shorter relatives) with a Matco, which is what I was looking for. I think this ratchet is great value for money and will do just fine as long as you have the right expectations.
