Used to hang an extension. The dowels went straight into the drywall and then the screw. Light. The only problem I had was in one area, I hit a tree. The anchor could not pass, it actually bent the tip. I just pulled it back out and luckily I was able to drive the screw into the wood. Highly recommended.
