I work a lot with 12vdc with solar generation. I use both SLA and LiFeP04 batteries. I always provide a fused circuit to prevent accidental short circuit discharge. These fuse holders are ideal for this application. Another reviewer stated that the cable is aluminum and not tinned copper as stated in the product description. Aluminum is the worst conductor and cheaper than copper. I ordered it anyway because I was skeptical about such blatant false advertising. I stripped the end of one of the wires and scraped off the tinning with a sharp knife. The copper core shone copper-colored, as it should. (See photo.) These are indeed tinned copper wires as stated in the product description. There is a good selection of fuses with different ampere ratings. The covers fit snugly into the securing slots, but can be easily removed with your fingers. I struggled to pull the fuse out of its socket and had to use pliers to carefully pry it out. However, he escaped unscathed. All in all, these are good fuse holders that live up to what is stated in the product description. They are inexpensive. I recommend them.
