Review on Grizzly Industrial G0513X2BF - 17" 2 HP Extreme-Series Bandsaw With Cast-Iron Trunnion & Foot Brake Micro-Switch by Dan Weeman

I have the Grizzly anniversary model bandsaw. The saw cuts well, but I have had a couple failures with it. I purchased it in December of 2017. Around August of 2018 the rubber drive tires developed dents and caused blade wobble. I contacted Grizzly and they shipped them to me free of charge. In January of 2019 , 1.5 months after the 1 year warranty expired, the on off switch failed. I contacted Grizzly and since it was out of warranty, i had to order a new one. It was obly 10 bucks which surprised me, but with the $10 shipping it’s about what I’d expect. The end result is I am again stopped in my woodworking until I receive the new switch. I had a much cheaper Craftsman bandsaw before and it didn’t require any repairs in 10 years. Wondering if I made a mistake upgrading.
