Review on Haicam IP Camera E21: Enhanced Home Security Surveillance with End-to-End Encryption, 2 Way Audio, Motion Sound Detection, and Free Cloud Service by Chris Burns

I wanted this product to work perfectly when connecting to the camera viewer software. The problem is that after turning off the software, the camera goes into sleep mode. After opening the software, a black page remained on my phone screen. Had to uninstall and reinstall the app and it worked until closed and had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Something's broken here, and it won't take time or nerves to find out. Update: 08/18/2018. First to the main thing. Sent camera back to Revain on first inspection. Haicam contacted me about a month ago and asked me to take the test again. They sent me a new camera at their own expense. The new camera was easy to set up. It's been running for almost a month now and hasn't stopped. The camera has good video for a 720P camera. When it comes to software, the product fails. Push notifications are almost always sent with minimal build-up of movement. Software push notification only sends a traffic alert. It would be nice if the push sent a still image or a short video. Haicam told me that the next software update will include some kind of click clip. Once you're in the software to view the clips, that's quite nice. Timelines are easy to find and follow. Timeline jumps lag behind. With better software, this camera shows promise but is pricey for a 720P camera. Until the software is updated I'll give the camera a three star rating. 09/17/2018 After living with this camera and software, push notifications are driving me crazy. As promised, there were no improvements in notifications. Every 5 minutes it sends a push at the lowest level. When checking what is happening, it shows that nothing is happening. These are wrong impulses. Forced downgrading to two stars.
