Review on 💧 Flojet BW5000-000A Single Inlet Bottled Water System, 115V US Plug - White by Jon Manning

I would give this product five stars because it works like I hoped it would. The problem is that it gives the water a chemical, plastic smell and taste. I didn't voice my concerns to my husband and just waited for his response. He said the water tasted strange after drinking it. We tried the bottled water to be sure but the wines are not in the water. If water takes on a chemical taste as it goes through the pumping system, does that mean chemicals are being leached out of product materials into the water? I've only seen two other reviews mentioning the taste. One customer said it still tasted weird after 3 months and 65 gallons. I'm confused that I'm only the third person to complain about the taste. If anyone had the same problem and found a solution, please report.
