We have already changed this hose - same brand and length - for the second time and are very satisfied. We use it with the WaterPik showerhead and most of our showers use it in manual mode. This can put stress on the hose, especially the fitting closest to the shower head. If you hold the shower head upside down to hose down your legs/feet, the angles between the hose and the shower head can be very sharp and cause mechanical stress. This Purelux hose is very flexible and light weight and also stronger and stronger than the plastic coated hose that came with our WaterPik shower head [keep this WaterPik hose as a backup only]. Plus, it's easy to keep clean - just wipe it down regularly.
