Used to run 100 g/day membrane / 800 ml/m effluent limiter at 120 psi. Works great and isn't very loud. Most people having trouble with this pump are using it incorrectly or not understanding the pressure and flow ratings given in the data sheet (available on the Aquatec website). It's relative to the inlet, that's how the pumps work. Total boost pressure is also adjusted by a hex head screw on the front of the pump; Setting it too low will make it noisy, but that just means this pump is too big for the application. The closer you get to the hex screw without doing anything, the quieter and more energy efficient the pump will be.
