I needed a bedtime reading lamp that would be placed behind me and ideally high enough over the headboard so that I could have the pages I wanted to read at night and this beautiful glass actually can see (no plastic!) The Tiffany style gooseneck lamp is really perfect. Easy construction. The lamp is dimmable and I had to buy dimmable LED bulbs: ( THIS: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0829WTKGG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) which are just as nice when they are are blacked out. or customize as you like. To simplify the process and not mess around with cutting cords and embedding all the electrical cords right into the wall, I just wanted to plug a fairly tall sconce into the socket behind the bed, so I also bought a sconce concealer for the cord ( SIZE SMALL = https://www.amazon .com/gp/product/B07WFXD9Q8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) which is taller/wider than I wanted but can be colored and really helps no matter what. -- I will definitely be ordering a second Tiffany style lamp like this for the side of my husband's bed to balance out the wall decor. Really nice addition and very useful.
