Initially the rachet mechanism appeared broken out of the box due to locking up when trying to spin by hand. Once put under the pressure of a bolt, it started moving again. It does seem there is excessive friction in the rachet, when removing a 10mm bolt close to the end of the threads, I can't get a good enough grip to remove it by hand but the rachet also doesn't have enough resistance to work, and doesn't turn anymore.My test for these was performing a solid rear axle swap, which they successfully did but there was a bit of play in the 18mm flex head once the job was done after applying 120 ft/lbs multiple times. I did not trust these wrenches for breaking bolts loose and left that to the air tools. This makes me question the longevity of the tool but overall will get the job done.
