I got this for Christmas and it's probably one of my favorite sketchbooks I've ever had! The paper is thick enough to hold the ink of my copiers and ink pens and has a great texture with my crayons! Graphite holds up well, but can also be smudged just for pencil work. Be careful though as luckily many of my pencil sketches on the previous page as well as on the artwork I am working on have been heavily smudged. on the. It stays well in my book bag during school days and works very well when traveling, there isn't a single crease or dent on the metal rings! I would recommend this to any artist who wants to carry a small book with them, be it to school or just in their purse!
