In my many years a part has broken Moen, Adler. Faucet Handle Ish. The part number that failed was 101054. I am very glad that the metal part number 8 in the 7400, 7600 series, handle adapter and coupler manuals worked! I'm not very good at home repairs but decided to give this a try after watching videos on You Tube and before calling the plumber. OMG I did it! It worked! I had to do a little tinkering just because I'm not a plumber. I felt like Superwoman, I still feel great. You will need a 7/64 Allen key. And a Phillips screwdriver, also see how the black plastic part goes into the metal part. This confused me for a few minutes until I took a closer look at my old part. The new metal part looks a bit different than my old one, I think Moen spiced up the design because there is more material in the area where mine broke in half. I also cleaned and soaped the parts and threads. I only used 3 pieces of the set. I think I saved myself $200-$300 and a week without a kitchen faucet. Yes Moen!
