I ordered this cable for Yaesu ftdx1200 CAT Control - then I saw all the reviews that this cable is not suitable for amateur radio control and quickly another cable with better ones Reviews ordered in this respect. Both cables arrived yesterday and I pulled out the one that should work and struggled with it for a couple of hours before deciding to try this one. Plugged it in and it worked the first time. I have to swap for a longer version, but that's my business. Edit: Using this cable with the ftdx1200 requires a female-to-female null modem adapter.
