MAKE SURE THE PART THAT IS ON THE FOOT PUMP IS ON YOUR SHOE , POSITIONED AT 90 DEGREES SO IT WILL NOT GET TOO CLOSE TO THE MECHANISM WHEN IN THE UP POSITION 2. Then simply turn the crank and you will be amazed at how easy it is to turn the board down. Sounds silly but some people sometimes do it without even thinking twice everything is balanced and "safe" overweight in the system YES THIS IS SO GOOD PUMP JACK YOU WILL FIND THAT USES WOODEN SUPPORTS If you want something more permanent QualCraft has a system that the aluminum post used and designed for everyday use has not been replaced op op for many years.
