Broken after 100 days, but they sent replacement parts.

Purchased in April and one of the thermostats already broke. Less than 100 days old. SmhUpdate: reached out to seller and they apologized and immediately sent replacement parts. Dryer is working perfectly again.Thanks!

Didn't last a full year

It worked great since March 2022 but it is now burnt up. The whole thing is almost black so we assume it got overheated and that's what caused one of the heating coils to break. This time we are replacing with an OEM part so hopefully it will last this time

Heating element last for a year

Replaced all sensors, etc using this kit and it worked well. However, heating element burned out after a year. Claims of nickel-chromium and thicker wire superiority are meaningless.

Easy to install in my review

I have installed this heating element twice in my dryer, and at this price rate, I can install several more before it hits the cost and nuisance of purchasing a new dryer. We have seven children and use our dryer a LOT. Once you do the install once (plenty of youtube videos with instructions), it is about a 10 minute process the second time. Make sure you open your dryer and check against the current heating element serial number before purchasing.

Exactly as original, but a better value than most.

This kit, with the heating element, the thermal fuse, and thermostats cost less than many local stores wanted just for the fuse and thermostats. Very easy to install and works perfectly.

Dryer Fixed! on my review.

The parts on my dryer started to fail one by one and it was getting expensive just from piecemeal replacements, so I decided to replace the entire heating element and other electrical components for a full refresh. This kit included everything I needed. After checking to make sure this kit matched the parts I needed for my machine, I ordered it and installed it with no huge issues. Easy to install. Good value for money. The last one I bought like this didn’t last as long as I expected but that could have been an anomaly. I still recommend it.

This is a great value and preventing me from having to replace my dryer, but I am disappointed in the amount of time that it worked. This is my second time buying in 10 months. If they could make it last longer I would be happier

My dryer works again!

I honestly am not 100% sure what was wrong with our dryer. The dryer was very hot even on the low setting. Then the thermocoupler went out twice in a few months time. I decided to buy this kit for our Maytag dryer and just replace everything. My suspicion is the problem was one of the thermostats but figured since I had it all apart I might as well replace it all. Our dryer now works perfectly and we are actually able to select the heat. It took about 30 minutes to do the job and that included…

Element came shorted out, be careful.

Heating element coil came shorted to the housing, so if you're not too savvy, make sure your coil is not touching any of the metal in the element housing. Overall good deal though, just be attentive so you don't put yourself at risk of a fire.

Great product in my review

This product rocked! I got the whole replacement kit for less than Maytag charged me for a thermal fuse. Maytag did not mention the second thermal fuse which ended up being the problem. I highly recommend for the price and that it includes everything you need.
