Review on XFasten Self-Fusing Silicone Tape Pro: 30Mils Weatherproof Seal For Outdoor Coax, Electrical Cables & Pipe Leaks | 1.5In X 15Ft Black by Michael Santos

I ordered this to use with some exposed outdoor electrical connections that I wanted to protect from the elements. The tape worked great, creating a water-tight seal around the connection of a piece of equipment to an extension cable in my landscaping. The cable will be buried under mulch and exposed to a great deal of moisture, so it's important to make sure that it's completely sealed. I've tried using electrical tape for similar installations in the past, but on its own it just doesn't hold up.I like the fact that the tape molded itself to the connection and adhered to itself so well. This was exactly what I was looking for. Time will tell how well it performs in the long term, but I suspect it will do well. Based upon my experience so far, I would order this again and I have no concerns about recommending it to others. It appears to be a great product and it appears to have so many different uses. I recommend keeping a roll available for emergencies. that's my plan.
