Nice shade of blue
This bedspread is a lightweight spring/summer bedspread, not a quilt or comforter so you will need to stack layers underneath for added warmth. I love its color, the light French cobalt that brightens the room more than the many matte navy bedspreads I've brought. The embossing is thermal printed, not embroidered, but you can only see it up close. What confuses me more is the rather "papery" stiffness of the fabric. I'm very happy with it though, it looks way more expensive than its price.
