Review on Fotodiox Stretch Mount Adapter Mount by Johnny Bloomer

This is an amazing product. I use regular adapters to attach Contax C/Y lenses to my A7ii. When I saw "Stretch" I thought it would be nice to get a little closer with some lenses. PROS: Well made and nicely finished. All metal, and the coil creates a nice, smooth cushioning feel. Not too tight, not too loose. Stays in place but easily adjustable. The interior is matte black and "ribbed" to reduce internal reflections. The elongation is stretched by 16 mm. CONS: It's heavy. About 1.5-2 times heavier than a simple "blunt" adapter. A bit bulky - the knurled helicoid ring is large. BONUS: Most adapted lenses focus "into the past" infinity. Adapter designers do this on purpose so that lenses don't stop to infinity. With stretch I can lengthen the pop up a bit which returns perfect infinity up to the bottom of the focus ring! Worth the price and weight.
