Driftwood loose

In real life the natural color is almost pink/flesh and looks nothing like the standard photo. I went for the mist color and while I love that color, when you take it out of the box the sheet stays attached to the hook that is on the box. Why do you need a hook next to such a thin fabric? I've already returned one and don't want to deal with another return.
