Reviewed on 7/3/2019: Upgraded from 2 to 3 stars. It turns out there are several ways to replace tie rod boots on a 2002 Ford Expedition 4WD. It seems to be one of the best fit options, although I still can't say it fits well. I glued the shoe to the base of the ball joint to see if that fixed the problem. Original review: I installed it and it will not fit a 2002 Ford Expedition, although the manufacturer says it should. The boot does not have a steel ring built into the part to hold it to the base of the tie rod ball joint, and it is also too short to be held in place by surrounding components. It wants to slip off the ball joint even when it's brand new. I've attached a photo showing how poorly it fits. I will have to replace it with something better in the near future. What a waste of time.
