Description of Energy Suspension 9.13101G O.E.M. Style Tie Rod End Boot, Black - Pack of 2: Superior quality and durability for optimal performance

High quality. High performance. Professional products. Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently.

Replacement for LeSabre 2001

The original style boots were cracked while the tie rods were still in good condition. Installed the replacement caps and they sealed well to keep the grease in the tie rods. I plan on stocking some of these to replace old and broken dust bags. They fit most GM tie rods.

  • Great for me

Perfect replacement for Moog DS1430 Luggage Rack

I installed a Moog DS1430 tie rod/rod on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler as part of a general steering upgrade/upgrade. Within 500 road miles the shoe on the limb completely shattered. This is the perfect replacement. It really tightens, but eventually it settles down with a "pop" as soon as you start tightening the connection.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Tacoma Pre-Runner SR5 2003 Difficult Installation

Trunk made without floor sealing. Used on outer tie rod ends. I removed the old outer tie rod boot and wire retainer from the underside. When installing new boots I have noticed that the new ones have a small gap that dirt and debris can get into. Had to adjust several times to close completely. High quality material. Works, just not a tight seal to keep grease and dirt out.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modernity

Hard Tie Rod Boot and Parts

I bought this to replace the original rubber tie rod boot on my 2003 Ford F-350. The old trunk was damaged by my pickle forks when I replaced the steering box and I had a hard time finding a replacement for the stock one, but other reviews said it would work so I gave it a try. I wasn't entirely happy at first as they are shorter than the original and grease leaked out a few days after installation. I just checked it again and the lube doesn't seem to come out anymore so I'm not sure if the…

. Tie rods and tie rods because they are the best but after 7 or 8 years

I have Moog tie rods and tie rods because they are the best but after 7 or 8 years wellies at Moog deteriorate. I use these clever gaskets to replace the latch on Moog parts. They last much longer than rubber and generally longer than rod tips. Note, however, that Moog wellies can snap and seal better (before breaking), but on the polymer boot it's a pressure fit that tends to leak some grease at the base of the boot after you put a grease gun on it to have . You must lubricate them at…

Not suitable for Expedition 4WD 2002 Very Good

Reviewed on 7/3/2019: Upgraded from 2 to 3 stars. It turns out there are several ways to replace tie rod boots on a 2002 Ford Expedition 4WD. It seems to be one of the best fit options, although I still can't say it fits well. I glued the shoe to the base of the ball joint to see if that fixed the problem. Original review: I installed it and it will not fit a 2002 Ford Expedition, although the manufacturer says it should. The boot does not have a steel ring built into the part to hold it to the

Ease of installation. Fit doesn't look quite OEM.

I installed 4 of these to replace a cracked tie rod and tie rod grease fitting on a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT. The OEM oil boot on my truck is the same as for the tie rods and tie rod ball joints. Pros: - Easy to install. They slide, and because of their slipperiness and flexibility, they snapped into place when I tightened the castellated nut on the ball joint. They fit exactly on the ball joint. Cons: The OEM boot has a plastic retaining ring on the wide end that is specifically designed to fit…
