. Tie rods and tie rods because they are the best but after 7 or 8 years

I have Moog tie rods and tie rods because they are the best but after 7 or 8 years wellies at Moog deteriorate. I use these clever gaskets to replace the latch on Moog parts. They last much longer than rubber and generally longer than rod tips. Note, however, that Moog wellies can snap and seal better (before breaking), but on the polymer boot it's a pressure fit that tends to leak some grease at the base of the boot after you put a grease gun on it to have . You must lubricate them at appropriate intervals to remove any contamination. If you're a car enthusiast, this probably won't be a problem.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost never
