Working, not very bright

With this light it is possible but difficult to read my sign from the 50 feet required, almost impossible from the 100 feet required in some states. It has to do with my eyesight and a police car can read it at night since their headlights are on. However, if your goal is to be outdoors, look for a brighter choice. That's good enough for those of us who don't care, but if you want to be safe from illegal pretext searches (and be able to prove the officer lied to dismiss evidence on appeal), this light may not suffice. .
