Review on Marathon 92001 2Pk 20X2 0 Flat Assembly by Will Schimmel

Great product, even better service!

If you have a Rubbermaid Yardcart you need to be prepared that the tubeless pneumatic tires that come with mine will deflate and are NOT easy to refuel. If the tire bead detaches from the rim, air will escape and DO NOT refill. I had to put a belt around the entire circumference of the tire and tighten it to press the bead against the rim before I could inflate it with my compressor. When I did that, it was still flattening out the next day. If there was a leak, it wasn't worth fixing. When I was researching if I could put a tube in these tires, I saw that Marathon has a brand new bike with flat-free solid tires. And the price Marathon charged for it was VERY FAIR for what you get. In my opinion, Rubbermaid should have done just that from the start. Sure, the pneumatic tires make it smoother, but I'm not sure it's worth it when you have a puncture that's that difficult to treat. Anyway, I ordered the whole bike and it arrived in a few days, one less than I expected. Unfortunately, the way the Marathon works is that the wheel is supposed to come with a set of 3/4" ID bearings, but comes with a set of 5/8" ID bearings and instructions on how to replace them. My second problem was that I needed 5/8" bore bearings for a 5/8" axle on my farm wagon. I contacted Revain and the customer service from them and Marathon could not be better. I was expecting to send a set of missing bearings but a completely new wheel arrived the next day! Wow! I should add that the original bogie wheel bearing is just a shaft protruding through a hole in the cast wheel. The Marathon spare wheel actually has a lubricated, sealed ball race that is much looser!
