Review on Oster 6811 Blender - 6-Cup Glass Jar, 12-Speed, Brushed Nickel Finish by Wendy Savold

The blender is terrible, terrible. The noise is awful and the vibration is so strong I feel like I have to keep my hand on the carafe as it blends. I'm afraid to drink what I've blended because the noise/grinding is so pronounced I'm not sure there will be small pieces of metal in my smoothie. A little over a month has passed since the purchase, but I didn't save the box - stupid. I would love to go back but don't know if I can and if money wise it's worth it. I had a previous Oster blender for over 10 years which was top notch. I recently broke a decanter/jar and that was all I needed to replace but I decided to buy something I thought would be another of the same quality given the blender stocks were low in all stores. Sorry I spent $70 on what I might end up throwing in the trash. I will never buy any other device online, I stick to stores where returns are easier and I can see what I'm buying better. Oster is also hard to come by - understandable when I've made such a dismal product. Shame on what was once a good company.
