Review on πŸ”§ CruzTOOLS RTB1 RoadTech B1: The Ultimate Toolset for BMW Motorcycles (2018 and Older) in Sleek Black by Jay Aukuso

Wiring kit - and I hope I don't need them

The tool kit I got from Revain is different from most CruzTOOLS RTB1 kits I see advertised - it's missing a flashlight and a small one Tube WD40 and so is really no place for them. Granted, it was also significantly less than $$ than the retail price, and I don't really feel short on these items since I already have a flashlight and a headlamp. In fact, I didn't even notice the difference until I cataloged what I have and what I might need. The kit itself is a nice addition to the minimal tool kit on a bike as it duplicates some items (screwdrivers, allen wrenches) but adds more things that might come in handy in the event of an accident on the road. The tools are reliable and good looking, with a lifetime guarantee. The adjustable wrench and vise work smoothly and feel solid, as does a screwdriver with interchangeable bits (feels much nicer than the flimsy stock kit). The 1/4" drive is also a quality part, but feels a little small, and the short handle might not provide much torque for a stuck screw. I have to use it before I can judge it. My wife thinks he's cute My Beemer, I really don't need torx or wrenches (useless until I build a bike this decade) so I'll be replacing them with things I really want to carry around. complete enough and with a standard tool kit and standard tire repair kit I should be able to do most repairs on the road. I'll probably add a few things like extra other sizes of zip ties, some tape, a 7mm allen wrench, some extra 1/4" sockets, a 3 socket extension and some razor blades for example, as well I carry a multi tool for added flexibility and a small air compressor, connecting cables, brackets and a short list of parts Now that I have this kit I will be using it for routine maintenance as well (maybe this weekend) It always helps, practice using tools that can help you if you need it in an emergency just don't know if i'll try it with a flashlight in the dark see you on the streets.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
