Really outright terrible candles
I bought these for Thanksgiving, and they were so terrible they were the topic of discussion at the dinner table. I was happy at first because the tapered shape meant these fit well in my older candle holder. After that, things went downhill. The wicks don’t burn as fast as the wax melts, which means a huge mess of drippy wax, dangerously giant flame, and sometimes even two flames at once as the long leftover wick burns in multiple places. I should have trusted the other recent reviews but I didn’t realize how badly a candle could actually fail. Avoid my mistake! I’ll be scraping up wax for days.
