There are no instructions on how to use these burn gels so I searched online and I learned a lot about how to handle burn injuries. It seems the key is to cool down the burn immediately before the burn goes deeper into the skin and flesh. I got this kit to put it in the kitchen, where the burns usually happen.The kit has burnt gels of different sizes. Some of the larger ones have fabric dressings mixed in with the gel so it could be applied to a large patch of area. The gel itself is very liquidy more so than jelly in lotion. The gel's purpose is to cool down and protect the burn area. I haven't had an emergency where I needed this but I feel like I've educated myself on how to use this.
