Review on 🚦 Partsam 60" LED Tailgate Light Bar Truck Tail Light LED Strip - Universal Replacement for Pickups, RVs, and SUVs - Red/White Reverse Brake Turn Signal Lights by Matthew Flores

bright, not very dense, fairly easy to install, cheap

this is a pretty good light bar for the money. wasn't the easiest of installs, but hardly difficult. I strongly recommend removing the tailgate. it just gives you more options to work with. Also, check the lightbar before installation so you don't go through the installation process in vain. I used the built in adapter to plug it under my truck. Unfortunately, this adapter is more expensive than the lightbar. Unplugging it from the 4 pin connector on the bumper seems pretty crappy to me. But if you want its simplicity then be my guest. If you want the reverse lights to work you will need to connect the white wire to either one of the reverse lights or to your truck's wiring harness. I connected my back to the back of the built in adapter I bought. That way none of my factory cables were "tampered with" when I got into trouble with the dealer. lol Installation was pretty easy. I ended up cutting 2 pieces of wood to make sure I had the LED lighting. It's not stiff enough to hold itself up. it comes rolled in a package. It was quite difficult to keep it straight to attach the 3m adhesive to the truck. hence the pieces of wood as a guide. If you have an Aries. to put the light in the best place. You will need to remove the bushing that protects the edges of the spare tire access hole. It's still available, but be careful when using it as the light bar will obscure it a bit. I also bought a 60" for my 2014 Ram 1500. Although it fits great and looks great. It would be better if it was a few inches smaller. Gaps on each end where the 3m tape doesn't make contact with metal has.I smeared some clear caulk in the gaps and all over the top and ends. This didn't stop the water from somehow getting into the pole.after going through the automatic car wash, I noticed a small amount of condensation on the Driver's side. It has since cleared up. We've had a very heavy rain the last few days. No problem with that. It just seems to be a strong jet. on the light bar. I suspect it's between the black plastic base and the transparent LED -Case is not fully sealed. I will seal the whole thing with clear coat to be safe. Functionally it works great. The LEDs are nice and bright. Good si during the day visible, but at night it seems exactly where it seems. I got lots of compliments.
