Well made, solid, close to the drills. Let me give you an example of what I can do with it. I drilled 3/16" pilot holes in 3/16" steel for hinge pins in a car door. I made a hole 1/16 inch from where it should have been. Impossible to fix this with a hand drill. The end holes are 1/2" in diameter, so I had a diameter to work with. I lined up the edge of the 5/16" pilot hole with the edge of the existing hole and clamped it. This offsets the centerline by 1/16 inch. I put a 5/16" drill bit through the guide and it came out perfectly. Yes, they are not cheap. I don't intend to use them every day. On the other hand, there are no other solutions to the problems they solve or prevent. I don't know how I lived without her.
