Complete Sun Protection. i like the hat Wide brim and drawstring so you don't have to worry about wind. Two side ventilation openings ensure a cool head. I have quite a big head, I also tie my hair in a big bobby pin and I was able to adjust it to my liking with an elastic at the back. The description says it fits a small head but I think if you have a large head it will fit. The material is soft on your skin and the soft fabric strap wraps around your head almost like a bandage. Well made and I think it will last a long time. It came very quickly.
