Review on 🚰 Moen Edwyn Spot-Resist Stainless Steel 1-Handle Deck Mount Pulldown Kitchen Faucet (Model 87028SRS) by Shane Tomko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There's a lot to like, even if so, I plan on returning it.

Overview Moen Edwyn - Made in the USA This is a very nice faucet from a well known manufacturer. The entire removal of the previous Kraus faucet (good construction, cheaply made although it wasn't cheaper to buy than this one) and installing this faucet probably took no more than two hours of work, as this creaky, creaky old man often did below and above the sink. If you can corner a helper from above, the task should be much easier. The included tool for installing the mounting nut is very useful and speeds up the process considerably. I read a review that recommended running the spray hose through the assembly BEFORE installation, not after as instructed, and that was great advice. You also have to thread the tubing through the included tool when you first put it down, but that was easy enough. I don't understand how some reviewers' jets can dangle without fully retracting unless they managed to install the weight in a clearly marked spot on the hose or closed an unobstructed area in the weight and hose area under the sink keep. . Mine works great. I have not installed a soap dispenser. I wanted to wait before deciding to keep or return this faucet. I think the price is reasonable for a quality product from a US manufacturer. The design is timeless and appealing. The lever functions are smooth and reliable, as you would expect from Moen. My problem is the weak operation of the faucet for its intended purpose, adjusting the flow of water. Simply filling one sink with HOT water and another with COLD water takes longer than the thaw of the last Ice Age. (I remember it well.) I understand that mandatory flow restrictions are partly to blame, but one of the criteria for ordering this particular device was praise for the Power Clean technology, which produces "...an exceptionally powerful, concentrated spray." Maybe Moen forgot to put PC technology in the device I received, but both the aerated jet and the spray are pretty weak and border on shit. I need to renew my search for a jet effect faucet. There is no dishwasher in this apartment (but I have hope - I just bought my own brand new LG french door drawer fridge to replace a cheap management frigidaire that completely fell apart in four years and this faucet, to replace my own one from Kraus which replaced a cheap apartment faucet that couldn't hold more than one pot so an exceptionally powerful concentrated jet is the bare minimum for a hygienic environment and I'm working on getting approval for the installation Bosch has a great A, perfect because I really miss my little mahogany shack in the Hollywood Hills, where I haven't had to beg for a windowless kitchen hood for eight years, even though it's against building codes and ordinances offends not to have one here. Some landlords are unscrupulous.against the main night Because of weak water flow rubbing, this can be a good choice. Well-known manufacturer, fair price, made in the USA. Hey, there are enough options to make it a lot worse.
