As another reviewer also pointed out, the Y-spanner design occupies about 15mm of build space on the Y-axis for me as I rarely build large Prints pieces, but it would be nice if this information was "very" visible in the product description, along with steps on how to get around it. This drove me crazy trying to figure out what was going on with my printer because every time it finished printing I could hear the engine skipping steps which I eventually realized was the Y engine still trying to move the platform forward when it had already touched the stretcher. As another reviewer pointed out, one way to fix this is to adjust your printer's firmware settings to compensate for the lost build area, although this may not be that easy for many. Another way to get around this is to adjust the y-depth on your slicer. In my case, I use Cura to keep the build bed from extending more than 220mm with each print.
