To be honest I was surprised by the quality of the images I got with this lens as soon as I took it out of the box. I usually shoot with a zoom lens so I can compose the shots to my liking as I shoot. But with this lens, I force myself to be a little more mobile and frame as I get closer or farther from the subject. Otherwise I just photograph and crop in the post. Yes, I have sharper lenses, but for a lightweight Canon EOS M-50 mirrorless, it's a spectacular combination. Highly recommended if you are trying to "lose weight" for a more comfortable flight experience. On newer, smaller mirrorless cameras, this lens delivers excellent results for a relatively small investment.
