I bought this to test the compression on a 7.3 liter diesel - it was a total failure. First, the threads on the glow plug adapter pin are terrible. They were supposed to be M10x1 but they didn't fit at all. I had the machine shop run them through an M10x1 die and it worked, but it was still pretty awful. Come on yourself if you want to ruin the threads on the glow plug holes - I definitely didn't. I managed to screw it into a clamp in 3 or 4 threads and check the compression - after 4 turns the quick connector snapped. switched off and the manometer stopped working. If I were you I'd look elsewhere - I ended up going to a shipping port, bought their $30 test kit and made a custom whip to screw into the glow plug holes in my engine. The compression on my engine looks fine - no thanks to that crappy Lang product.
