Review on 🐟 Eheim Battery-Powered Automatic Fish Feeder 2-Pack (2 x 1-Pack) by Jessica Sanders

These feeders are very reliable in terms of time and effect, but the opening from which the feed comes out can be changed a little. The cutouts are too wide apart and don't fit well. I think this will work fine with medium sized pellets, but the micro pellets for my tetra run out like sand and the fine pellets for my rooster either don't come out or too much. Like many others, I modified the doors with duct tape and had it dispense the right amount. The problem is that the tape (I've tried tape and packing tape) changes shape with temperature. This led to a lot of inconsistencies and errors until I got it right. There aren't any better feeders at this price point, so all that work isn't useless to get it working. I just think if the small fish feeder hopper was redesigned and sold separately as an add-on for about $10 I would buy it. It will probably sell like hotcakes. All feeders for small aquariums have bad reviews, so nowadays everyone has to settle for this. This one fed my fish while I was away for 5 days, but despite several hours of 'setup' and a successful test the day before I left, it was still a bit overfed. But the snails liked it.
