🐟 Eheim Battery-Powered Automatic Fish Feeder 2-Pack (2 x 1-Pack) Review

Bought a pair of these for both of my aquariums while on vacation for a week. The flaky fish food went well with it. Just remember to break up the large flakes. In another tank I feed reptomin floating amphibian sticks and those worked just as well. Set up was easy, program the time of day and then set up a feeding schedule, up to 4 times a day and 1 or 2 cycles per feeding. Do a "dry run" in the cup to determine how large the feed opening should be.

Ideal for feeding fish on holidays or to ensure two meals a day! The slot in it is designed to spill a large amount of feed even on the smallest settings. I used a piece of cardboard taped with a small hole in the hole to try and slow the feeding rate for my males and I think it worked. He still overfeeds a bit, but not as much anymore. It can feed up to 4 scheduled meals per day and is super adjustable to get just the right amount of feed. This is the best food loading option! These feeders are very reliable in terms of time and effect, but the opening from which the feed comes out can be changed a little. The cutouts are too wide apart and don't fit well.
